Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind (Rudyard Kipling)
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I work using an integrative model which draws on a variety of theoretical approaches. By blending a mixture of psychodynamic, person-centred and relational methods, together we can discover what resonates with you to help you to achieve your goals. What is important is that the therapeutic relationship we develop is one which you find the space to explore the things that might feel too comfortable at the moment.
I can use a variety of creative methods, if this is something you are comfortable with, and I offer you a different kind of listening – one in which you truly feel heard.
I offer short-term, long-term and time-limited counselling.
I work with Employee Assistance Programmes to offer workplace counselling or support after critical incidents.
I offer clinical supervision to experienced and trainee counsellors.
I can work online using Zoom or Skype, offering an alternative to people who do not feel able to attend my therapy room.
I have a clear enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, and full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
For individuals I charge £50 per 50 minute session.
For couples I charge £60 per 60 minute session
I can offer a concessionary rate to clients in some circumstances.
